          Distributing edibles is not allowed. Baking them for yourself however, shouldn‘t be a problem.

          No. In fact if you look at the list of countries that banned cannabis, the US sits pretty much in the middle of the list and after the US ban went in place in 1937, prohibition in other countries actually kind of slowed down till 1950.

          So no idea where you’re getting this but you’re vastly overestimating US influence on this issue.
