Maybe she’s fast charging by induction? Who needs naps when you’ve got radioactive power box to give you more blep time?

    Because she feels safe there.

Try to create more places in your home that are exclusively hers (don’t place any of your things there, basically don’t use it in any way). The spots should be up high, or else protected from three sides and from above. A little shelf in a corner near the ceiling is a good idea. Make them confortable, maybe put a soft blanket or something.

If the cat is in her safe spot, don’t try to take her away - it will make her regard the spot as not safe.

Don’t wash the blanket or whatever soft thing you put there unless absolutely necessary. And if you do, don’t use anything that smells, like dryer sheets or fragrant detergent. Cats are very sensitive to smells, and if the place smells foreign she will no longer feel like it is hers.

One of ours likes to climb behind our microwave now and then. Usually when he’s in a mischievous mood and looking to get into something.

Stop judging her and let her enjoy the one thing that makes her happy

Does she have anywhere else to hide near where there is activity in the house?

I once read cats don’t like it when their whiskers touch the bowls while eating. Not sure if it’s true, but if your cat doesn’t like to eat for some reason, you might want to look into that.
