Image you’re just going through your life but your food delivery person was some huge oafish creature who could barely sense when you were present (almost deaf with poor eyesight and no sense of smell) and who could only communicate by making weird hideous noises. Even if you were genuinely grateful, you’d probably be skeptical of anything it wanted to tell you.
They were not domesticated to work with people as dogs were and consequently feel themselves our equals.
Lol sounds about right. I’d say “equals” is probably even a stretch. “Superiors” is probably more accurate.
I read something the other day that described cats as being “ungovernable” and I’ll be damned if that wasn’t the most accurate description of them I’ve ever heard.
