Didn’t the writers and actors guilds negotiate to ban this?
Some of it. For a limited amount of time. Mainly surrounding job losses and ability to use a person’s voice and likeness, and for preventing AI from writing scripts. It’s a Hollywood contract so there’s lots of room for bullshit to still go on. It doesn’t outright prevent Hollywood from using AI.
As if most Hollywood blockbusters couldn’t get soulless enough.

Something which would be interesting, is to be able to provide it a depth map, and makes the characters moves around it. Then you could easily edit it with the source of this depth map.
