If you want to paint a clear picture of what a painting is in other people’s minds, you should show it to them instead of just mentioning the title. If I told people my favorite painting of all time was the 1903 piece “Goodbye” by Wassily Kandinsky, would that paint a clear picture of what it is in their minds?
