I personally use Bluestacks, and have never had any issues. The ads can be annoying, but once loaded they don’t bother me.

Bluestacks is far too bloated. I liked to use MEmu to emulate Android but it’s been years so I don’t know if it’s any good now.

How much ram do you have? What’s laggy?

i have 32GB ram, default provision was 6gb, i changed it to 12gb and it’s still laggy. It seems like it has ssd access lag, or graphics lag, i’m not a dev so I dunno for sure.

What specifically was laggy? I’ve never had issues but I’m not trying to run intensive 3d apps or anything. I only run Tivimate and PS App.

I myself haven’t tried an android emulator for quite some time, but you can try MEmu as it runs pretty smoothly and it’s (probably) the least bloated Android emulator for gaming (if that’s what you’re looking for) additionallly you can also check this list and see which one suits your needs.

Bluestacks has always been highly recommended but I previously used NOX Player when I was really into an MMO game a few years back. That might be an alternative to check if you run into issues with Bluestacks.
