Mr. Biden successfully avoided a messy primary fight, facing no viable opposition within his party.

    By not holding a primary.

“If you are now organizing people to walk away from supporting the president, then you are now de facto supporting and helping Trump,” Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania, a Democrat who has disappointed progressives with his unflinching support of Israel, said in an interview this past week. “If you’re going to play with fire that way, then you need to own the burn.”

You, Fetterman, and Democrats, need to own the burn for supporting Israel. You fuck.

She shouted at Mr. Obama, who told her and other protesters, “You can’t just talk and not listen.”

And neither can you, Barry. Fuck off and go produce some lame Netflix series.

Pretty disappointed in Fetterman. I could forgive him if he just kept his mouth shut but to go full on lecture mode makes me think he doesn’t understand his base or he’s just gotten enough donors not to care anymore.

Primary elections are ongoing. The whole “democrats aren’t holding a primary” thing was right wing fearmongering from like a year ago. Like one state decided not to bother

Why would he debate someone who isn’t running in the primary for the same party? What a joke lol. If you’re gonna shit on the DNC, learn how elections work first

Dude, if you are going to pretend to be American to sway our elections to get Trump elected, maybe you should spend an hour or two learning about our system.

And if you are actually an American capable of voting in our elections, I strongly advise you spend an hour or two until November learning about your system. Your ignorance is frighteningly high for a supposed citizen.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

And in places as disparate as a historic church in South Carolina and Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan, President Biden has been heckled and drowned out by demonstrators objecting to his support for Israel.

Protests over the Biden administration’s handling of the war are disrupting the activities of Democratic officials from city halls to Congress to the White House, complicating their ability to campaign — and, at times, govern — during a pivotal election year.

But the Gaza conflict has stoked intraparty tensions nonetheless, raising Democratic concerns that a sustained movement protesting a war thousands of miles away could depress turnout at home in November.

The national effort to pressure U.S. leaders to limit their support for Israel has focused almost exclusively on Democrats, with former President Donald J. Trump rarely — if ever — attracting significant criticism from pro-Palestinian demonstrators at his home or public appearances.

At a White House gathering for Ramadan this past week, a Palestinian American doctor — one of the few Muslim community leaders who agreed to attend — walked out in protest after telling Mr. Biden that Israel’s looming ground invasion of Rafah would be a “blood bath and a massacre.”

And even innocuous photos posted on social media by the White House — of children at the Easter Egg Roll or newly planted tulips — are flooded with comments accusing the administration of being complicit in mass killing and starvation in Gaza.

The original article contains 1,691 words, the summary contains 240 words. Saved 86%. I’m a bot and I’m open source!

Boo fucking hoo! Maybe they should stop participating in a genocide if they don’t want their activities to be disrupted!

raising Democratic concerns that a sustained movement protesting a war thousands of miles away could depress turnout at home in November.

They’re only now starting to admit they’re concerned that it COULD? That’s the other main gripe along with the crimes against humanity: these (mostly) boomer rich people in their mansions paid for by the ultra-rich and their corporations don’t LISTEN to regular people.

Sure, they’ll PRETEND to on the campaign trail, but if you can’t afford to attend gala fundraisers every election season, 95%+ of Washington don’t care about your needs and wants.

The national effort to pressure U.S. leaders to limit their support for Israel has focused almost exclusively on Democrats with former President Donald J. Trump rarely — if ever — attracting significant criticism from pro-Palestinian demonstrators at his home or public appearances.

Because Democrats are in charge of the White House and the senate and also there’s a slight chance they might listen if pressured enough. Trump can never be reasoned with.
