Let me guess:
-Processed Foods
-Microplastics
-PFAS
Ten bucks says it’s mostly microplastics.
Microplastics is one of those things where I’m deeply afraid of the repercussions down the line. It’s everywhere now, even inside of us. There’s just no way this does not have any drastic effects on our bodies.
I bet we do know exactly what health effects they have, right?
Or maybe at least we’ve never seen them harm human cells before, I’m sure that one’s true.
Well I’m out of ideas. The only way to avoid microplastics in your water is to filter it or boil it. And your water is only part of the problem. So good luck.
BRB boiling and filtering all the water used to irrgate the crops for the food I eat.
Pesticides, Insecticides and the plants that are modified to be immune to these poisons (fuck you Monsanto/Bayer)
It still amazes me that Bayer thought it would be clever to acquire Monsanto.

COVID19 causes all kinds of postviral problems including immune dysregulation, a common factor for cancer, and it’s still spreading freely
Good question with no clear answer. I’m not 40 yet and I’ve known three lost to cancer in their late-30s.
Anyone younger heed these warnings: learn to use and maintain cast iron and carbon steel cookware. It will last your lifetime and there is no need to use nonstick cookware. Do not heat anything in plastic, do not use plastic utensils for anything hot that goes into your mouth. It’s probably impossible to fully eliminate plastic, but avoid it and don’t ever warm it up. Even if nonstick/plastics are discovered not to be the cause, your quality of life is not degraded by avoiding them.
I’ve been using Xtrema ceramic cookware.
It was hard to use at first, but I’ve figured it out.

I do not work for or have any financial interest whatsoever in Xtrema.
That’s cool I hadn’t heard of them before. Lots of “ceramic” is kind of a hoax marketing term, but it’s cool to see they are making true glazed ceramic cookware. Cast iron and carbon steel have a learning curve too, but when well seasoned and pre-heated with oil, it’s effortlessly nonstick for pancakes or eggs.
Also bottled water esp the cheap thin plastic that crumples under its own weight
the answer is: Capitalism
You’re like a religious nutcase. Rainbow? God. Universe? God. Cancer? God.
Just in your case, it’s capitalism. You have no idea what you’re talking about
Not op, but there’s a much more rational connection to be made between unfettered capitalism and diseases. One of the unfortunate side effect of making institutions like corporations uber powerful is that they 1) pursue profit above all else, including the health of humans, and 2) won’t hesitate to lobby against, or simply break environmental laws and FDA regulations if it’s less costly (factoring in reputational costs, lawsuits, fines, etc) than following them.
That’s how you got lead in paint, on toys, in fuel, how you got BPA in everything for a while, forever chemicals everywhere, microplastics in every living creature, global warming even though it had been a likely consequence of fossil fuels known for decades, science on cigarettes and cancer drowned, then challenged and discredited, and then lobbied against by big tobacco…
I mean… not to be all internetty on you, but wtf are you talking about?
The State of California probably knows. They find everything can cause cancer.
I may be 11 years clean and sober, but I’ve done enough sketchy drugs that not much is going to put a bigger dent in my health.
It’s the 5G!
