Do you know which church has never done some violent shit? The Satanic Temple. Not even Satanists are as despicable as god-fearing Christians.
In the documentary “Hail Satan?” One of the church’s high-ranking members did hold a public event where she tried to incite violence against then-president Donald Trump. The Church did “excommunicate” her for this, but the church leader did express how worried he was about members turning into a militant group.
Militant atheists… I don’t think that’s actually an issue that exists but if it did, it would only be as a reaction to militant theists who actually rule many parts of the world.
Fantastic documentary though, I highly recommend it.
I think it’d be more accurate to say militant anti theists.
A good reminder that belief doesn’t kill anyone but fearing God, being afraid of that belief, that’ll get you to do anything.
