Digitals are pretty hard to get. I get the best results when I do the patterns with a fine brush by hand, but you need to have a steady hand (or a cheater bar) and a lot of patience.

There was supposed to be a three color (light grey, dark grey, and blue) pattern applied by putting masking tape shapes on the mech and drybrushing the progressive layers. Didn’t really work at the battle mech scale and there are just vestiges of the pattern left. I’m too lazy to strip and try again, so I just rolled with the shoddy pattern and panel lined and added the cockpit and such.
