    That’s some awful casting.

The dialogue sounds like it was written for an MCU movie, with all of the quippy one-liners and poorly timed jokes that that entails.

And the visual gags are also ripped straight from the MCU, with all of the same predictability and forced humor.

I know it’s just a teaser trailer, but holy shit it makes the movie look boring. Like a generic action-comedy with a little bit of transformers branding.

Feels like a Thor movie tbh especially after seeing Chris Hemsworth in the intro lol

I think the only movie that captured 1980s Transformers was the first ten minutes (give or take) of Bumblebee. Everything else felt like execs thinking they know what it’s about.

Bumblebee is the only good Transformers movie, because it’s basically The Iron Giant.

I do quite like the opening of the first Bay movie, but that very quickly goes downhill.

Oh man, those designs and intro, truly amazing. I wish it was a whole movie.

So an origin-story Transformers movie, based on the done-to-death MCU formula. Whoopee.

It looks good, but the dialogue has me concerned, too many jokes. They could have just picked out most or all of the jokes to make the trailer though.

This style of movie is the worst, ugh. The whole movie might as well be live action and be about a group of human friends, with the acting. There’s nothing in their acting that gives me any impression that these are aliens from another world.

    Big no from me dawg.
