You fold laundry? I just pick what to wear out of the clean clothes hamper. Toss it into the dirty clothes hamper at the end of the day. Eventually toss the dirty clothes into the drier, then put them into the clean clothes hamper.

I take them directly out of the drier. Then eventually carry the pile of dirty clothes in front of my bed to the washing machine and start it.
Honestly anything else seems like unnecessary effort to me…
