My partner and I work 4 10s. She gets Friday off and I get Monday off. I think I get the better end of the deal not coming in on Mondays.

To me getting a Friday off feels like getting two Saturdays. Monday off feels like getting two Sundays.

I prefer Fridays off since it feels like the weekend is ramping up for 2 days instead of winding down for 2.

The mind is a weird thing - both scenarios are basically the same.

One of the very few benefits to working weekends is reveling in the beginning of my time off while the rest of the world bemoans the end of theirs.

Do you only work 2 days a week? I would totally be ok with that swap lol

Weekdays off are the best: Shops are open, attractions have lower amounts of visitors, I can be noisy outside all day because workday - I would absolutely trade weekends for two free weekdays if my job asked for that. Well, I wouldn’t, I would hmmm and hrrph and make them pay me on top, no need for them to know what a good deal that would be.
