I am not Jimmy from reddit. He seems nice. I admit he inspired me. I always wanted to do this on Reddit but don’t post there anymore. Lemmy is my world now. I’m also not at house of shield so please note the address posted above.
I live too far away and drink rarely/little.
I’ve always wanted to get in on get togethers but I’m out in the TVR and that makes it challenging.

Jomo (I think I did come up with that like 10 years ago :) choosing to not let fear be the metric) in this case is the joy of knowing what was missed - to fill in the gaps, ready for next time.
It also works when it was a truly awful event, e.g., Firefest, and the showden fruit schadenfreude is strong, lol.
But not applicable here - I’m sure it was nice just to get out for fun.
So mostly to vicariously enjoy something that was missed out on!
