Does Trump really need a ground game though? Republicans have national propaganda outlets to get their people out to vote and he’s got plenty of name recognition anyways. I feel like “ground game” is really more useful for local candidates or for Democrats, who have a harder time mobilizing their blocs of voters to actually go out and vote. Otherwise, how useful are these satellite campaign offices in this day and age for a presidential candidate? Hopefully we’ll see it hurt local races more than anything and some sort of “blue wave”, but somehow I doubt it. Trump voters will still come out to vote for Trump and anyone with an R next to their name.

I agree with you, the strategy here seems to be to pick at biden… any idiot that would vote for trump today won’t gain moral competency by the election. They need to wear away reasonable voters, and assume the flag t-shirts show up to vote when they announce some new moral crisis in October.

The House and Senate really need the effort. Not every Bozo in… Pick a red or blue state realizes that a seat is up for grabs.

This will amount to a get out the vote election. You need a ground to do that.

The Republican National Committee was poised to open and staff 40 satellite campaign offices across key battlegrounds when former President Donald Trump, now the presumptive GOP nominee, abruptly replaced RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and her deputies with fresh leadership.

Trump’s new RNC team, led by Chairman Michael Whatley, Co-Chair (and Trump’s daughter-in-law) Lara Trump, and senior campaign adviser Chris LaCivita, killed McDaniel’s 2024 blueprint. Roughly six weeks later, neither the committee nor the Trump campaign has much infrastructure or personnel in the swing states that will decide the November 5 election, multiple sources in Washington and the crucial battleground states told Dispatch Politics this week.

First of all, I doubt momentary NBC News voice-of-fascism Ronna Romney McDaniel had 40 offices “poised to open”. Probably a binder full of offices they were discussing.

Secondly, Lara “nothin’ but guns” Trump is not the Co-chair. Who is fooling themselves with that? Whatley is the Co-chair (if there even is one).

Heh. Still can’t believe those chumps turned everything over to the demented rapist. Seriously, that’s a ridiculous way to keep punching oneself in the crotch. But, they’re clearly jeniuses.

Thirdly, arrogance and incompetence backed by money is what the republiQans voted for. So, everything’s going to plan. Nothing to see here.
