Given the circumstances, the timing of him having to answer questions related to the deposition the next day and him having plans of what he wanted to do after depositions (people that commit premeditated suicide, which is what cops are going by since allegedly he left a suicide note, don’t make plans for the future since they know they won’t be alive to do them), yeah it’s more than suspicious. He also warned his family friend that if he died, don’t believe it was suicide.
Even if he did it himself, he was coerced. Probably.

To be clear, he was warning about safety beaches before his demise. These depositions were not coming from beyond the grave.

The mother of the murdered woman claims she saw her ghost and told her that the husband did it. The prosecution didn’t even bring up the ghost during the trial, it was the defense, who was trying to discredit the mother as a witness.
