    The internet just allows people to find others sharing the same kind of weird. Which is both great and awful at the same time.

    Before the Internet if Minnie Mouse made you feel some kind of way you might have your idle fantasies, or even mention it to someone and they’d be all, “dude wtf” and you’d be all, “lol nice joke right hahaha whod ever want to bone Minnie Mouse”.

    After the Internet? Well if alt.binaries.sexyminniemouse, and minniemouse.xxx weren’t enough you could search out dozens of other sites and groups for it.

    If you’re serious, curio shops with a Victorian/Gothic bent; a good sign is if they advertise having a little museum or collection of weird things.

    I’ve got a few shops like that where I live, although most of their bizarre taxidermy dramas for sale involve mice.

    It sure took a lot more effort and skill to be successfully weird back then though.
