My partner is Bulgarian and she hates having to speak her native tongue, one of the reasons being that she keeps needing to remember how to speak it.

I’ve lived outside the US for a few years now and I’m constantly forgetting english words and phrases. It really freaks you out the first time it happens but you get used to it. Just make sure you keep using your native tongue.
