Lately I’m seeing this more and more where posts have comments that will refuse to load. It seems like the issue is getting progressively worse. Right now, I’m using the Alexandrite front end but the default has the same issue where comments don’t load.

    Hi,

    is this consistently happening with the same posts?
    Do you see comments when you try the same post again later?
    You mentioned this happens with both the default front end and also with Alexandrite, does it happen with the same posts on both of them?
    Can you reproduce this in a private browser window?
    If you can, would you mind sharing a post that this is happening with so we can take a look?
    It would also be useful to see the associated error message.

      I’m not getting any error messages. I press the button to load and or refresh comments and sometimes they just don’t load. I get a spinner and then nothing. Pressing multiple times does nothing.

      I have not tested Private Browsing or going back to posts that didn’t load before. I just ignored them up to this point. I’ll try to find more and run some tests.

      Update: I think it was the ye old language selection bug. I unselected ‘Undetermined’ and now the comments load again.

      I select “undetermined” and that chain doesn’t load. If I unselect “undetermined” and go back to it, then it loads fine.

        ah, annoying that that seems to be happening accidentally so easily :/
