The U.S. State Department issued a “Worldwide Caution” alert on Friday, warning U.S. citizens overseas to exercise increased caution due to “the increased potential for foreign terrorist organization-inspired violence against LGBTQI+ persons and events.”

Jokes aside, US State Department warnings this devoid of detail usually indicate that there is intelligence of an increased likelihood of a hate crime outside of the US, without confirmation of intended location as of yet. Be safe if you’re abroad.
They only seem to be counting foreign terrorists, not domestic ones.
