So I decided to do a week of these posts and then see how it was going. It seems to have gone well enough, but it’s probably time for me to take a break from this format specifically for a while. In true Star Trek spirit though I want to get some use out of the misfit ideas so here’s the memes I didn’t pick each morning for whatever reason.

OP might not mean the recent films. Marvel and DC have had cartoons (and movies) in production for many decades now. Consider that the Batman Animated Series started in 1992. That was 32 years ago.

Fair I did watch xmen and batman as a youngin… Putting 32 years on it doesn’t lessen my thin feeling though!

I don’t know if this helps, but Spiderman had a cartoon in 1967 and the first Superman cartoon was in the early 40s I believe. That might be stretching things though.

Take heart friend! I’m 43 so not that young. I grew up watching Adam West’s Batman, Marvel cartoons, etc. They count!

Yeah, 42 here. I remember loving the Adam West Batman, then being blown away by Kostner’s Batman and then the '92 animated series.

      As I see it…

DC Comics is better at large scale world building, Marvel better at the single character story.

Marvel movies have been better for large scale world building, and DC just hasnt been great with their movies. And marvel has been going downhill.

      Still enjoy them all though!
