Everyone knew this would happen. Personally I kinda wish Microsoft denied Sony the opportunity so late after their repeated efforts to end the acquisitions and repeated rejections of signing a deal with Microsoft. At the same time, Sony signing this should decimate any remaining reason the CMA would have to deny the acquisition.
Ah well. The deal is done, case closed. Finally everyone can move on from the limbo.

I’m not sure why anyone would expect that to happen at this point.
I guess that just doesn’t work with a higher value IP. Shame. They’re actually going to lose money on that.
