I produce pottery and lost $450 in comissions and around 20 hours of careful work to make the pieces all special because i didnt teste a new glaze batch even having a bad feeling. It worked the last two times without testing because it was mixed at the clay facility. This time it was brought home instead then mixed later… Dont be dumb like me and follow your gut feeling if its got a risk attached!! Urgh!
That sucks. Yeah you gotta trust your subconscious/gut/instinct even if you’re in a hurry.
So true. Thankfully i have saved enough not to worry too much about the lost time n such but its the worst hit i think ive taken. Definitely learned perspective though!! The kiln and customers can probably handle it haha.
pottery is so cool! your post reminded me, I actually used to play this wii game called Let’s Create! Pottery[1] lol, but irl its hard and time consuming so props to you!!
