Holy shit… How can you rightly identify that the US military (and the US government’s use of said military) is evil, and that killing people for their ideas just spreads those ideas, but then somehow come to the conclusion that public health mandates during a pandemic are unconstitutional and “billionaires in this country got rich by actually serving their fellow man”?

Fucking hell, the propaganda machines are in overdrive.

Appreciate a veteran telling kids not to join the military. (Assuming this was written by an actual veteran, and isn’t just fictional propaganda.)

The rest is idiotic corpo bootlicking unrelated to the topic.

at this point I’m extremely suspicious of anybody who self identifies as “anti-war” because if you have the correct opinions that would be included under what the listener would consider opposition towar, you can just, like, say those opinions. “anti-war” claimers are always trying to shield their real opinions (Russia should get to occupy Ukraine to do at the minimum genocide-adjacent stuff, you should help Trump by throwing your vote away on the current zero support not even left wing third party candidate, etc) from criticism

There’s nothing adjacent about it. Russia is committing genocide. Since the start of the war, they’ve abducted 700,000 Ukrainian children and placed them in foster homes to be raised as Russians.

I totally agree with the rest of your point though. Anti-war calls are veiled isolationism. We have a responsibility to support our allies. Ukraine, Taiwan, and the Philippines are currently in need of our support, and can’t afford us backing away.
