Gravity Falls could possibly be resurrected as Executive Vice President of Television Animation and Disney Branded Television Meredith Roberts hinted they’re in talks with the show’s creator.

In a new interview, Roberts revealed that they are looking into bringing back the animated series and have approached Alex Hirsch to make it happen.

“You know, we’re in conversations with Alex. He’s about to publish a book with Disney on his project. And we also do some shorts. So never say never,” Roberts told The Direct.

Not sure how I feel about this. The show is super good as a 2 season run but I would like to see more.

I remember reading at the time, that the creator had planned for 3 seasons, but they cancelled the show after two. The ending always seemed rushed for me.

Give Dana Terrace money and a time slot again, cowards!

… I might still be cross about Owl House getting shafted.

It kind of petered out, or maybe it’s that the story was getting too intense and lost a bit of the early show adventure and quirk. Adventure Time got that way, too. When a show switches from episodic to serialized.

Note that I phrased it as just giving her time and money, not for Owl House itself to come back.

Dana did great at wrapping with what they gave her, though I would have liked to see some of the ideas she’s talked about originally having planned.

I just want her to have the resources to run another gig.
