If forbidden door were a once a year thing, this concept would be great. Personally I would lump All-in and All-out as back to back days, with All-in being a NBA arena size show of nothing but forbidden door type matches. You know, dream matches that have no reason to be booked other than “Hey, you know what would be a cool match…”. Then the next night is their big stadium show. Hell, you could even do All-in from the united states, and All-out from wherever. That way you have SOME crew already stateside for Dynamite.

Because nobody is saying Cassidy vs Sabre is anything short of an awesome sounding match…but the whole ppv concept makes your whole months worth of storytelling, for the sake of dream matches.

And then the whole concept itself is invalidated because any random Dynamite you’ll see 3 random CMLL guys, or New Japan guys show up with no build, no story, just “next week, heres a random ass match”.

So now the door is no longer forbidden…it’s kind of just a secondary door that gets used regularly. So that brings us back to the concept of the PPV itself. What the hell is the point with everything else I’ve said???
