The end of his life is really sad. If anything he should have been hailed as a hero to the world, and a shining example of how being gay doesn’t mean someone is bad or evil or anything to worry about really. What a hypocrisy defeating an army of hate, yet still be so full of hate against your own people at the end of the war.
But it’s okay because the Very Special Lady™ of the UK pardoned him posthumously
