    Well yeah but it took mixed conditions and a track like Canada. I’m all for keeping the field this close together but realistically we will see Max winning by 25 seconds soon enough.

    Also I’m baffled as to why the regulations already have to change since we have not even reached the best part of these regs.

      McLaren and Ferrari (and even Mercedes) are closing the gap though, even if we were to have a ‘normal’ race weekend. The budget caps and windtunnel limits are starting to have their effect.

        That, and I’m anticipating that Red Bull are going to fall off, with Newey potentially moving to Ferrari or Merc.

      There’s been several races now where this hasn’t happened, RBR are no where near as dominant as they were. Max is just insanely good to just still be able to win.

    This seems to be an article on the sporting regulations in terms of wind tunnel/CFD and cost cap, which isn’t changing. Rather than the technical regulations.

    At least I think. I don’t think I really understand the angle it’s coming from.

      But it has changed recentlyish, and so (according to this article) we’re seeing the effects today.
