    Protected speech bitches.

Edit: let me clarify, as someone who has served under that flag I fully support people’s right to burn it to show their frustrations with our system. Burning the flag is a very powerful statement and in an ideal world we would find out why the flag is being burnt and attempt to address the grievance though I doubt that actually happens.

Same here. I served for a lot of self serving reasons, but I also served for our ideals. Speech was one of em.

I never enjoy seeing it though.

Maybe add a comma after “protected speech”, I understood it as you saying that these are people abusing free speech.

      I fully agree with you

Yeah nothing will happen. We’ve had a lot of marches and protests looking for positive, meaningful changes that amounted to fuck all in this country.

Woah be careful with that. Fire is dangerous!

I love America for being so strong to allow us to burn the American flag in public as protected free speech which many other countries do not allow. Not legal in Israel, Iran, Ukraine, China, or Russia. I’m grateful my country is green in this case.

I’ve never seen one outside of a hotel before. Is it behind the fire?

The situation in Gaza is pretty dire, and radicalizing in itself, however, the recent progress toward a cease fire seems to be ignored by far too many “protesters”, especially online.

Too many people in “alternative media” carrying water for a genocidal terrorist group that are rationalizing how Hamas not releasing hostages and not agreeing to a ceasefire is somehow Joe Biden’s fault.

Hamas has signaled that their support in the west is influencing them to carry on with the war.

I guess it’s difficult for an idealistic young person to face the possibility that they might be on the wrong side of things and are actually making things worse, not better. So they’re choosing delusion over reality.

More like it’s pathetic to think of oneself as a jihadi when your evening routine involves aromatherapy.
