Businesses are also required to post a notice of the testing kit availability in a prominent, conspicuous location, with the words: “Don’t get roofied! Drink spiking drug test kits available here. Ask a staff member for details.”

Seems like a pretty small thing to complain about. If it prevents just one person a year from drugging a drink, or saves one person, it’ll be worth the cost of the sign and a testing kit.

Oh, I’m not complaining about the signs, just the need for them. I thought that image was fitting because Jake (a police officer) says that line after he chases a woman he thinks is doing crimes, then asks her why she ran if she wasn’t doing anything wrong and she says “Because a strange man was following me to the bathroom?!!” He feels bad because he was being completely insensitive about the realities women face at social events. But it’s a comedy show, so he says it in a “Derp, whoopsie!” kind of way.

Now that you mention it, I actually remember that scene! Weird, in the picture it reads so sarcastic instead of like a realization

    Keep Students in School

SB 274 addresses public school responses to students considered to be deemed to be in “willful defiance.” The law will ban the suspension or expulsion of those students. Instead, it will require school officials to implement intervention programs and other support for students who are deemed as disrupting school activities or willfully defying the authority of school personnel.

The news item text says it applies to public schools while legiscan says it also applies to charter schools. It also needs to apply to private schools (which are often religious), and if it doesn’t that’s a huge loophole of detriment to some kids.
