Damn… is that screen cap from the Smart Refrigerator port of GTA 5?
Idunno, couldn’t find one of higher quality that didn’t have some bulky tag in the shot.
Could be from the PS3 release. Also reminder that GTA 5 is almost 12 years old (released in september 2013)

And yes, it was weird that Nog kept it up with the headpiece even after joining Starfleet.
I consider it like Ro with the Bajoran earpiece or Worf’s sash. A culturally important decoration which gets an exemption.
I’m guessing you are proposing an analogy about the armored curtain? Also, this got me to investigate and realize it’s from that episode:

Behind the scenes, it simplified Ferengi makeup if you could just hang a curtain over the back of the actor’s head instead of having to apply a prosthetic.
