Dude’s smoking so much weed that they mistakenly picked up and drank BBQ sauce and not Dr Pepper. 💨👁️👁️💨

I once bought a Dr. pepper BBQ sauce, so in that case Dr. Pepper did indeed taste like BBQ. Perhaps more aptly, BBQ tasted like Dr. Pepper.

It’s good as hell in BBQ sauce though! I’ve got a Dr Pepper pulled pork recipe that I break out every year or so and it’s fukkin delicious.

Tastes like the lolly ghost drops to me, which probably has less sugar than BBQ sauce because that shit is like 50% sugar and im always impressed BBQ sauce stays as a liquid

It would absolutely surprise you how common of a thought this is.

Do you even eat anything that isn’t pure sweet? I don’t eat a lot of sugary things so when I do it all gets overwhelmed by intense sweetness

And that’s different from every other soda and juice how?

I don’t drink soda very often but they kind of do to me. Not entirely the same but the same theme. Those “sugar free” beverages are awful though

Water and sometimes coffee for me

Dr. Pepper tastes like Amaretto+Bacardi 151 dropped into a glass of beer.

I’ve done this with another recipe and is good as hell.

Though, a warning. Don’t, under any circumstances, think you’re helping yourself save a few calories on a splurge day by using diet soda. There are some things better left unseen…

Dr Pepper was designed to taste like a soda fountain smells. So basically all the flavours mixed together.

Don’t drink soda and especially don’t trash talk a soda flavor while drinking another equally artificially sweetened drink. Soda is bad for you end of story. If you choose to drink it you are limiting your life span and quality of life. Its your call but don’t do marketing for a massive industry.

Everything is bad for you, if you consume a lot of it. Soda, as in carbonated drinks, isn’t inherently bad, it just has high sugar content. Which you still need to function, it’s energy, but in moderation. Nothing bad will happen if you occasionally drink a can of soda, just don’t substitute water with it. Which mostly a real problem only in NA. And if you live in NA, then also try to avoid overconsumption of all non-carbonated drinks, too. Cause juices and iced teas all have very comparable sugar content.

It is a problem because it is very high in sugar. Also the carbonation is bad for your bones.

A little sugar isn’t bad but we are talking something that is pure sugar in a form that can be consumed easily. This makes soda bad as you can easily exceed health limits.

You mostly just repeated what I said. And it’s not “pure” sugar, it’s about 10-15% sugar. Which applies to almost all commercial drinks, like juices, teas and coffees. You can’t single out sodas here, rest are just as bad. Just watch your sugar intake and you can drink sweet beverages fine.

I didn’t know that CO² is bad for bones. I’ll have to look that up.
