Garmin watches are expensive but they are fantastic, worth the price if you are into outdoor activities, especially compared to Fitbit now.
How are they from a private and Foss perspective? Will they work with Gadget bridge?
Honestly, not sure, but it’s better than Google.
What about nfc? I love not having to remember my wallet/phone and still being able to pay.

Hopefully my Fitbit lasts a couple more years then I’ll probably go back to Garmin.
I would get a Garmin if it was cheap enough, instead I got a second hand Hauwei watch and just don’t connect it to the internet so it can’t upload my data to China.
