I tried to make a post to [email protected], but received an error message about not being able to post in this language to this community. Is there a setting I need to change in the app for language? I can’t seem to find one.

Yup there is a problem overall with the concept of language in lemmy…and memmy doesn’t let us choose the language of the post/comment. There is no workaround that I’ve heard of yet, you have to post through the website
Thanks. Yikes, that seems like it should be top priority. Memmy users not being able to post is probably hurting the site more than we realize, especially while we are in need of content.
I agree I would love a language selector on memmy to work around this issue…
It’s unfortunate but I think at this moment yea this might be the only way. But I have another solution I can think of so we will test that out and see if it works.

Yes, I had the same error twice today. Had to go to lemmy.world and change the post language to English. It did NOT work otherwise. It’s not a memmy but a lemmy problem I guess.
