There couldn’t be any other outcome. Everything before and after the shooting was an utter failure.
The sheer incompetence on display is so bad that it risks encouraging other potential attackers who think they could show the world how it’s done.
Agreed. If you haven’t seen it already, I recommend watching this youtube video. It combines cell phone camera footage from spectators, official footage, and 3D modelings of the events. There were so many failures by the Secret Service and local police it is just mind boggling.
