“It is hypocritical to claim to be concerned about the massive death toll of innocent civilians, and then turn around and welcome the person responsible for these war crimes to our Capitol,” Tlaib said.

Couldn’t have worded it better myself. Netanyahu slaughters 40,000 people, 2/3 of them women and children, and he gets to stand in front of some of the most powerful people in the world and celebrate?

Hypocritical is putting it mildly. I’d have said disgraceful.

I think it’s a mistake to center the ethnic cleansing on Netanyahu or his government. When you read the history, there is an unbroken through-line between Ben-Gurion and Netanyahu insofar as the Palestinians are concerned. Liberal, conservative, secular, or religious the Israeli government has pursued a policy of ethnic cleansing.

Israel owns America. Israel is a puppet of the US and follows all US orders.

Which is it? You claim both all the time. They can’t both be true.

What? I never claimed anything but the first one.

Having pretend power over someone is not relevant if said power is never used.

Joe Biden could cut off israeli weapons supply if he so wanted. But he does not do so because he is controlled by AIPAC
