I was used to the ones where Everett is the good guy, reading this I first thought there had to be a second page where Everett True comes out and beats up Everett False.

I thought the original made pretty much perfect sense, except maybe replace ‘fierce’ with ‘fearsome’ since fierce basically means the opposite these days, but the point is that everyone is complimenting her to her face but he’s the only one with the courage to say what they’re all thinking and call her out on her bold style choice. Your version seems a lot more nonsensical, I can’t tell if it’s supposed to be a joke.
