      Why would the spider text first in this scenario?

        I suppose it was a human typing at first, and the dog barking because it saw a huge spider. Then during the struggle, the keyboard mashing happened, including the sending of the message. Then the spider tries to play it off.

      I should make a key macro that binds asd/aoe to grabbing data from /dev/urandom and using that to generate three random ascii letters.

    Yup. The other day, a friend messaged me “asd” over steam to indicate he was online and ready to play something. I responded in kind, but he thought I was suggesting we play Age of Empires instead of our usual Project Zomboid.
