    That’s why my go-to is. “Well I’m here…” and let them make of it what they will.

    I kinda skip the cutscene and aways just say fine.

    Its 99.9% small talk 99.9% of the time

    I just always go with “either they really want to know, or they’ll never ask me again unless they really want to know….”

    New jersey.

    “How are you doing” Is a call-and-response looking for a “yeah, how you doin’?”

    “How are you feeling” is an inquiry about your health.

    I sometimes ask if they want to know for real or just being polite.

    It’s about 50/50 it seems.

    don’t care, they’re getting the lore, i’m sick and tired of questions that don’t mean what they ask, if you don’t want to hear about my day don’t ask me about my day
