They would he dismayed to find out that the majority of the people keeping their IT infrastructure from falling apart are neither white nor American. If they are white and American they are few or in a PM or supporting role.

Source: Completely anecdotal but I run the top firm (by far) in our field and we interact with a lot of firms in charge of critical infrastructure. Their teams, with one exception, are always like a meeting of the United Nations. That one exception is based out of Kentucky and despite all the stereotypes, they are the nicest, most helpful, and most accepting bunch (at least to our face which is all that matters in a work setting) we work with. Even if some in there are racist bigots (no evidence points to that), they never forgot their manners…unlike the MAGA crowd.

I’ll get downvoted for this but as long as there will be state sponsored racism (because that’s what dei, affirmative action, positive discrimination, whatever, is.), people will always scrutinize the work of minorities harder. Are they here because of their talent? Or was it because a quota needed filled?

These policies are a band aid on an cancerous tumor.

Equality begins at birth. Education, healthcare, etc, has to be free, of good quality and available to all. This takes resources and time.
