He qualified for final with a 67.47-meter throw and broke his father’s Olympic record with 69.89 meters. As the world record holder (74.35 meters), Mykolas is set to continue his family’s legacy.

      He was bested a short time later by Rohe Stona, who won the gold medal and holds the Olympic record now.

    I wound expect Italy to dominate pizza throwing … but we have seen a lot of stereotypes shattered in many sporting events thus far (Im informed only my memes).

    Interesting to see the difference 20 years of improvement in digital cameras have made too. I suspect 2004 was film, but it’s possible early digital.
