Skimmed the article, seems like the “some” refered to in the headline are specifically GOP lawmakers (as opposed to polling of actual red state residents, or democrats who think they don’t deserve all the jobs it’s creating), so status quo nonsense basically. The article does go into a lot more detail about the received benefits, and what those lawmakers are doing about it though, so worth the read if you have time.
