On one hand this reminds me of a tweet I once saw that said something to the effect of:

“We live in an oligarchy where the fate of all of us is decided by a few powerful individuals and a bunch of people think the problem is that more of those people need to be women, black, etc instead of just tearing the whole thing down entirely” although iirc it was shorter and better put and used more emoji.

But also I’m a little hopeful that previously lower social classes are becoming a little more equal is a reassuring sign that we’re at least headed in the right direction.

Life is really complicated and I’m thinking about putting in a return; the bastards didn’t even bother to ship me with a decent manual, and half of the ones you find laying around are incomplete and in languages that literally don’t exist anymore!

Baby steps, man, that’s how this will work. Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Gotta be constant forward progress, though, that way. With super strong, focused leadership and majority.

There’s been wayyy too much backsliding the last 40, then especially 20, and especially the last 10 years.

Yes, let’s slowly make changes as the environment collapses around us.

The thing is, we’ve ended up where we are because of those few powerful individuals, and even if you tear everything down and murder those people, there are an infinite number of other assholes ready to climb over everyone else to be the new powerful individual.

That is to say, tearing everything down will result in something much worse than what we have.
