Oof, painting big white skin is actually quite tough to get looking decent.
This is a 3D print I received. It has quite a few support marks, which I decided to paint as scales, since this was a paintjob on a time limit. Some holes in the wings with greenstuff smushed in and vaguely smoothed.

Hey man the white skin looks retro and the model looks retro. It works well.
Thanks. I’m just thinking about how much of a rush job it was. I think I could have gotten good results from a blue oil wash in the recesses followed by white touchups, but I just didn’t have the time to wait for oil to dry.
Such is the process of finishing minis and then second guessing them.
