The music is great but it looks pretty, idk, straightforward?

“You took everything from me”- generic straightforward villain motivation
I hope I’m wrong and there’s a bit more to it, but this trailer actually has me a bit more nervous than the first one. That trailer made it look more like a “why is this happening?” style mystery.
I know what you mean. For me, it ratiates the cliché high-stake-world-is-gonna-end superhero fatigue. Let’s hope I’m wrong!
This movie looks fuckin dope. I can’t get enough Captain Marvel, honestly.
As much I love Captain Marvel, Iman’s Ms Marvel is just so perfect. I can’t wait to see her on the big screen.
If nothing else, I’m in for the interactions between the three leads. Captain and Ms. Marvel are fun portrayals, and I think Monica could be a really great addition. The place swapping aspect could be a lot of fun early on and create some interesting hijinks.
It’s also fun to see some up-front suggestions of tying together the more recent marvel universe (beyond the obvious inclusion of the heroes) what with the Statue of Liberty’s appearance in the trailer.
