You know, I think that’s the most I’ve ever seen Trump lift.

Reject local names. Embrace “carbonated beverage”. All will unite under the technically correct name.

To be fair, Kamala Harris is also opposed to universal healthcare. I’m not sure what her positions on the other topics are but likely better than Trump’s at least.

Of course MAGA isn’t going to provide that stuff, but neither are the fucking democrats. They haven’t done it yet, and they won’t fucking do it in the future either. Take the state I live in, for example (California). Longtime Dem majority governance. Yes, it’s better in a lot of ways than many states, but we’ve got some fucked up problems that are getting worse. Cost of living is skyrocketing with no credible plans to address that. On a related note, our ‘uber-liberal’ governor Newsom wasted zero time in seizing on the recent SCOTUS ruling to (further) criminalize homelessness. He has decreed that any cities or counties who don’t clear out homeless encampments will lose state funding. The California university system was once the best value in the country, and fostered a politically engaged student body. Now the costs keep rising and student protests are met with swift police violence.
