    But yeah, either cities need to stop paying for stadiums, or teams need to be owned by the city/state instead of private billionaires.

    The sheer existence of “media blackouts” when a game doesn’t sell out is fucking crazy.

    Local residents are already paying for the stadium, but if not enough of them also shell out hundreds of dollars to see it in person, no one in the city can even watch it on TV.

    Shits fucked up, but we just deal with it
