Could just be that they’re finally cracking down on brigading in general. It’s not in Google’s interest to have places be reviewed by people who haven’t ever been there, so I could see them just automatically removing those.

Oh boy, now only authorized brigading will be allowed. This can’t possibly make things worse…

I mean, Gigafactory Berlin (and Google itself) is trash, but it’s not really in a review service’s best interest to let users publish negative reviews for places the person has never been to.

There’s probably some trigger that kicks in of x amount of people who aren’t from the area write negative reviews about a specific place within a certain time frame that soft-locks reviews and says “this place is probably being brigaded.”

This isn’t even to get into whether or not controversies surrounding a building’s construction are appropriate reasons for a review

I’ve rated a couple of places without having been there, this never happened. Look at how many people give five stars without a comment for this factory. A 4.2 rating for a Tesla factory outside Berlin is just dubious.

Holy shit, you’re so close! These types of rules you’re complaining about have to be implemented specifically because of people like you who do what you’re admitting to doing. So fucking close.

google does not care about the fake reviews in Pyongyang. My review was not fake, i gave my reasons in this post. I did not know how much you all want to help google to be the honorable service to review every place on earth.

No, we just fucking hate the shitty reviews left by people who haven’t really been to the place, and the people who leave them.

Fuck Google, and fuck review abusers. Weird that we can care about two things at once, right?!

Your energy is the same energy as “my little brother got my Fortnite account hacked by banning, and they won’t honor my ‘father’s’ email proving it was him and not me!” Gunna ask why we all support Epic Games by being okay with banning cheaters?

Yeah well you shouldn’t do that

Why do you say that? The Germans love Teslas. You don’t think people would positively rate a modern factory that will provide cheaper cars and job opportunities for people? On the subject of “they had to cut down a forest to build it,” you do know that was a lumber farm, right? It wasn’t an old growth forest.

Good a one star review with no comment or proof of anything is pointless. I’m glad they’re trying to clean up the google reviews some.

Just to be clear on my stance: Fuck Tesla and Musk. I’m not a fan in general but getting rid of unhelpful reviews is good in my opinion, no offense intended.
