Let me know if this gets annoying. He’s probably going to live in here for the time being. Hopefully not causing too much mischief. A little is ok.

Took a second in my brain to realize that’s an action figure sized Q. For that brief moment, thought your rig was like the speaker at the beginning of Back to the Future.

I have space in my PC case, but it’s below my desk so it would be true banishment haha. Thanks for letting me know the manufacturer, may get myself a gremlin as well!

Hehe the motherboard is a standard mATX “gaming” motherboard from Gigabyte. The case is theunusual thing, it’s a Thermaltake Tower 300. It was fun to build in and looks great on my desk.

so Thermaltake really made a tower where you aren’t supposed to use an IO-Panel to keep your motherboard dustfree?

But yeah, on the marketing material it does look nice.

I thought it was a weird looking RaspberryPi before I realized the thing on the left was the GPU

I gotta say, that case does look sick. It makes me want to switch to mATX

Ok honestly I like the tiny MOBO

But it feels so weird where are all the cables? Where are the 9 SSDs and lone HDD you’ve collected over the years?

How does an x16 pcie card fit on there?

microATX isn’t even that tiny compared to miniITX!

      • The cables go up and out in a small bundle from the back. I’m surprised at how tidy it all is.
      • This computer is in my room at my family’s house out on the island. The bulk of my storage is in my main PC at my apartment in the city; a mid tower beefy overpowered EATX big boi.
      • The Radeon is a 5700XT which is plenty big and x16. If you look near the edge of the card, the case has a removable cover which gives you another 3-4 inches of space for even longer GPUs if needed.

It’s a Ryzen 2600. I don’t think it gets any benefits anymore. I’d be happy to be wrong 🥲

Psych! We just want to install clippy AI and train “him” by using just 65% of your processor constantly and only 45% of your total bandwidth. Don’t worry, you won’t notice it!
