Uniquely terrible situation where the father seems to have directly enabled th shooter.
my uncomfortably hot-take, the majority of parents aren’t good parents.
They don’t have the resources, the finances, the mental/emotional capacity, etc. There are so few of us that actually have everything we need to be good parents. And even if you do have everything you need, and you do everything right, some other child of someone who doesn’t comes along and poof your child is forever changed.
Our society isn’t set-up for child-rearing/living. We’re all just forcing ourselves into it in whatever way we can just to get by.
